What is Trade Assurance?

Trade Assurance is Citysoko's built-in buyer protection program. It ensures that your money is held securely and only released to the supplier once you confirm the order meets the agreed specifications.

What you're protected against

• Products that don't match the listing description or agreed specifications
• Orders not shipped within the agreed timeframe
• Damaged, defective, or counterfeit goods
• Supplier failing to deliver without a valid reason

How it works

• You place and pay for your order — funds are held securely
• The supplier ships and provides a tracking number
• You inspect the goods upon arrival
• Confirm receipt to release payment, or open a dispute within 30 days
• Our resolution team mediates and issues a refund if the claim is valid

Trade Assurance applies to all orders placed through Citysoko. For wholesale enquiries or orders above KES 1,300,000, contact our supplier relations team for an enhanced assurance tier.
